Accoustic tests were carried out on the wool product according to Australian Standard AS1191. The tests were conducted at the National Acoustic Laboratories in Sydney. AcoustiWOOL effected sound transmission loss in the range 1.44dB to 9.69dB. Aircraft noise is a low frequency noise ranging from 100Hz to about 300Hz you will note from the graph that the wool provided its best noise attenuation in that 100Hz to 300Hz range.
